A question, sky said that they were showing all TWPs games so what happened to Friday's game at Barrow?

Barrow got form for this, they think it will take away there home attendance

Toronto wanted the game to be played on Wednesday last week.

Barrow wanted to play on the traditional Good Friday. They argued that it would hit their attendance.

Would any club prefer a Wednesday evening to a bank holiday?

Perhaps you could explain your "form" comment?

Sky had a host of outside broadcasts on Friday and simply didn't have a spare OB unit to transmit the game, despite Toronto making all kinds of offers of extra funding to do so. It was not the Barrow club who prevented this, despite scurrilous suggestions to the contrary.

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

If we ( Leigh ) can get 3,700 at the LSV I'll be amazed

You may not get 3,700 but if we again serve up the rubbish we dished out on Good Friday it will be  at least a 30 point win. However I am sure we can’t sink so low again so we will be at least competitive for 60 minutes or so.....☹️

York 0 - Widnes 6 after 25 minutes. Fairly even game, with a *lot* of penalties and mistakes from both sides.

Two more lads stepping up from the academy for first team debuts for Widnes which seems to be a weekly occurrence at the moment. Recent tradition is that the player's parents present them with their first team jersey on their debut, but the York officials wouldn't let them into the dressing room, so the Widnes squad all trooped outside for the presentation.

HT York 0 Widnes 6

York dominating territory & possession, camped out on the Widnes line for much of the second part of the half, but unable to score so far.

For Widnes, Teenage winger Sam Freeman had two scoring chances, but dropped the final pass both times after scoring 4 tries in the Challenge Cup game against York the other week.

Not a bad game at post office road . And Fev have butchered a couple of tries

Aye, quite enjoying it, toronto just look that little bit more well drilled with the execution of the passing moves

York not able to make it count when they had chances. Very tight but Widnes look quicker, bigger and stronger to me and I think that will ultimately tell...though hopefully not.

Very inexperienced squad for Widnes - lots of teenagers, so I think Widnes will probably cope with the heat better later on, but Marsh, Jubb & Robinson all looking pretty dangerous for York. Bit of naivety can lead to some stupid moments from Widnes - e.g. failing to find touch with a penalty kick after the hooter has gone.

What a try!

Great . And how refreshing to have to make a decision and how they get it right with their instinct . We’d still be looking at it in SL , but on we go with the game here
