I have gone for Warrington partly due to Cas' inability to break through Saints and Wigan's defences in the last couple of weeks. But Warrington are in awful form (bar the Cup Final) so if Cas can click, then who knows...

Cas' defence has been good in recent weeks, conceding an average of two tries in the last five games. They need to repeat that effort is they are to win.

Warrington have been poor of late, but have raised their game when it matters this season and I think they will again. Doing it consistently for three or four weeks of do or die games is where it may get tricky.

Wire have a bit more class in key positions (Ratchford, Austin, Clark in particular) and a potentially strong bench.

Cas have a fair number of starting 17 players sat in the stands again/still (Gale, Eden, Shenton, Moors, JSL, Massey, Foster) and our interchanges will look weak with Maher, young Jacques O'Neil and Clarkson likely to feature (2 of them at least).

Expect a Wire win, Cas will have to build on our recent improved defence to have any chance imo and need to find some spark from some where.

In the last 8 Super League games, we have scored 16 tries. That is appalling.

Despite Price sticking his head in the sand, our attack is shocking, and he can't now hide behind a decent number of tries scored because of individual talent.

We also have some of the worst discipline in the league (4th worst) and have had most yellow cards.

There is a fair bit to fix, hopefully we can start tomorrow.

Both teams have stumbled into the playoffs and I think both these teams will be going into this one thinking "this is a game we can't lose" rather than "this is a game we must win" which will lead to a more conservative approach. Castleford have been poor in attack recently and are missing their key players while Warrington do have a bit more quality in key areas. Warrington by 10.

Wire to win because Cas no longer have Marc Sneyd playing for them.

Wire 22 Cas 18.

Jacques O Neill and Calum Turner in for Cas, with Jamie Ellis dropped to the bench. Rankin in at 7.

Whilst I've never thought Ellis is any more than solid, it's a big call to put Turner in by Powell.

Nah, Cas to win because Wire no longer have Andrew Johns playing?

I don't usually count empty seats but that is simply dreadful.

Me neither but I was thinking the same for a big play off match

One of us is in a hotel in Leeds feeling really peeved that due to some selfish football fans, unable to watch the match in the bar and now confined to my room with my iPad ???????

Yorkshire obviously not a rugby league county anymore?
