Great halfback play tonight . Hastings and Mccrone have been at the heart of most of Wigan’s tries

Very much the air of a Championship team playing away to a Super League team in the Challenge Cup.

Or a Superleague team who were down to a one man bench and ran out of legs.

A scrappy win at best, bevan French was the difference and the scoreline is very misleading. Toronto did well for big parts of the game but mcrone brings nothing to them other than a poor kicking game.

Wigan are starting this season slow and disjointed. They've done that before and come good. And sometimes they haven't. Another week, and 2 wins from 3 is not bad, considering they way they've played.

Toronto look in a mess, overpaying far too many players in a salary capped sport.   If injuries bite they could be absolutely screwed.

Why bring Leigh into this?

Apart from against Leeds I wonder where Toronto will pick up any points.

Think they will do better in (genuine) home games, wil be a slog for the other side.

Scoreline reflects harshly on the game. Toronto were in it for the majority of the game...floodgates opened after 60mins or so but they had a good dig, particularly given the personnel issues

Toronto look to have improved every week but have also lost players to injury every week. If they can keep everyone fit they will win one sooner or later.

There is enough in these performances from TWP to be hopeful. Three competitive games, they will pick up some wins, and have to hope they will do well in Canada.

But that's the point , you can't , 3 years back Leigh used 33 players , so ATM they are around 7/8 short

Shocking.

Wigan should be setting standards on crowds.

They didn’t look in a mess to me, they looked short on numbers perhaps but spirit seems decent.
As for overpaying....they’re not overpaid- it’s the rest of RL that is underpaid.
