Havn't seen this topic (If i missed lock merge or delete away!) but sky are going to show all the NRL games from the first two returning rounds (16 matches)

https://www.skysports.com/rugby-league/news/12202/11988912/nrl-16-games-to-be-shown-live-on-sky-sports

Personally excited to be able to watch some sport while I "work from home"

Have Sky said they are going to resume with the payments for the sports package? Just curios.

I've not heard, or been notified, of any payment resumption so far, HS, but 'so far' could be the operative words!

I would expect payment of subscriptions will resume once the EPL does.

I agree. Football is the major driver of subscriptions and the customers that Sky desperately needs to keep happy, everything else is small fry really.

They may do it incrementally as live sport returns , a little bit for NRL etc ,then full subs by football returning

No mention of it but BT seem to be carrying on with their 'credit' system for no live sport despite showing the Bundesliga.

It should just be pay for what you use, Sky have the facilities to "meter" your box for the time spent on the additional pay channels or just to subscribe to the sports you are interested in, the majority of my subscription is to pay for their football contract, if I have watched 3 football games in 30 years that would be top's.

Very welcome news. Will make time pass more quickly 'working' from home.

Dilemma!! Do I cancel Watch NRL? I watch and enjoy other stuff on it (including the Mattie John's Show... I know, I know!), so what to do?

Keep it I’d say . Plenty on there and worth  it in the long run . Sky will scale back the coverage sooner or later

Wish that was happening in Canada. I have Sportsnet World and although we are getting all the Bundesliga we look to only be getting the usual 3 NRL games on resumption.

watchnrl is definitely available in Canada. All the games are available, and you can watch them whenever you like (and hide the scores within the app to prevent spoilers). Chromecasting works but occasionally is a bit laggy or at reduced resolution (probably more due to internet bandwidth than the app itself). It's not cheap, but they have done a really good job. My only complaint is that its difficult to scroll through the time line while watching a game or jump a bit forward or back.

Hi Everyone

I was thinking of getting watch NRL in the UK, it is showing £5 a month at the minute, is that normal price or will it go up when live games resume?

Last season I think I paid £17 for the first month then it went up to £22. I chose to cancel it when the season finished though.

Do Sky put the games on the catch up service? I have access to a Sky Go account now.
