1983, kiwi full back, nick wright, played 8 games for Oldham. He was sent off, away at wakefield, for thumping wally lewis. Lewis was stretchered off. But came back on 10 minutes later. We scored 5 tries but still lost .

You forgot all that?

Andy Currier at workington town, just about remember him playing but had to Google him to convince myself

Currier also at Wire. For a few years we had a hell of a high player turnover, and some old but big names - Paul and David Hulme, George Mann are a few that come to mind.

When was David Hulme at Warrington? Thought he went to Leeds & Salford before coming back to Widnes

Didn't see Liam Botham play for Wigan but believe he did in early noughties❓

He only played 5 games and wasn't very good. It was in the Millward years when Wigan were pretty poor and made a fair few dodgy signings to pad out the squad.

Botham didn't have a lot of time to prove himself at Wigan, before the career-ending injury. I didn't realise 'til I looked it up that he'd also been at Bradford, but only in the academy team.

Just been prompted by another thread. Paul Round at Bradford.

Although a firm favourite at oldham in the 80'-90's, I hadn't realised, until recently, that after the original club went bust he came out of retirement and played for the reformed oldham club in its first season in 97-98.
