Late shot direct to the head no choice.

Agreed, but let’s hope for consistency throughout the season

Vuniyayawa will not be returning, and Tetevano's been red-carded. Now things level up between the teams, at least in terms of numbers.

Well I expect every late hit to be a red now. Card lottery

If every hit like that was a red card then our game would be a lot better.

Why didn’t he go off for a head assessment?

Because rugby league doesn't take contact to the head seriously enough.

That’s the point though it’s that inconsistent that players aren’t protected, cards a lottery and some teams benefit

That was a bad one though. Really late, straight to the head. There's no attempt to make a fair tackle there.

I think if we are saying that it shouldn't be a red because a player hasn't suffered a head injury from a high shot, we are on a slippery slope.

We tolerate attacks to the head too readily in this sport. And then wonder why ex players sue.

The question for me is not why Tetevano was sent off, but why other incidents get lesser punishment.

In our sport we punish the action, not the outcome.

Direct hit to the head there too.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Not every contact with the head leads to a concussion.

The HIA is supposed to determine that though, not you, me or Fages.
