Cumberland Sausage Posted September 23, 2022 Posted September 23, 2022 Thought he was excellent and very happy he has decided to stay. Fingers crossed now for a few more surprise announcements over the coming weeks.
Carlisle1921 Posted September 23, 2022 Posted September 23, 2022 I was really worried matty would go down the road as they now need a few halves and hookers. I just hope we use him as an impact hooker where he wins games and not in the halves where he did a solid job but lost his x factor

Death to the Rah Rah's Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 Good start, let’s hope the Director of rugby and new coach can enjoy a close working relationship and work together as a team to identify the right players by position and not just signing for signings sake that we have witnessed over the last 2-3 seasons.
Sticklebricks Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 We really need some genuine speed in the back line, and I know everybody is looking for the same but we have seen how important it is
tbgfc Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 Top of the list needs to be some big impact forwards who can make the hard yards

Agreed, some of the C. T. era signings were bizarre.

silverfox Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 I agree with getting big forwards But I would also like to see Blaine Marwood back . He is always supporting players and looking for the offload .

Derwent Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 Superb signing, bags of potential and will be a handful for teams at this level. I’m not prejudiced, I hate everybody equally
DavidM Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 Give him number 7 and play him there week in week out
tbgfc Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 Cairan will go very well in league 1, build a team around him as these players are our future, great signing well done to the board for enticing him back to the pro game after this disaster of a season.
dkw Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 Straight swap for buffer who's going to Seaton? 2 signings that show intent, young talented local players, both attack minded, energetic and exciting to watch.
havenhater Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 If buffer wanted to go round again in an assistant coach type role needed if required he deserves that privilege. Class player who deserves more then what some post on here for his service to our club
