I'm currently furious, apoplectic even.

Have you seen Robbie Paul's tache....

You would get a player rushing to the 20 metre line, and then an American football style pass from the player collecting the ball. So I understand why the law exists.

I think a max 5m pass rule could also work, but if the IRL feel the law is satisfactory as is, it’s not a hill I will be willing to die on.

I still don't see the problem.  As I say, if a player diffuses a kick then maybe.  But if a team kicks the ball out, why shouldn't the opposition restart quickly if they are ready.

Maybe, but thems the rules!

How good would that be ?

Robbie Hunter-Paul is far better doing the straight pundit job rather than his pitchside gig.

Another good line up from the BBC for this one.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Yes, of course.

I do get frustrated with the obsession for controlling restarts and calling knock ones when advantage can be played, or stopping quick tap penalties.

Anyway, back to the game in hand.

We change laws looking forward, you should only ever change laws looking back as to why it was introduced in the first place. You et unexpected consequences from changing a law because you thought it was just a good idea.

Just moved from the corners to behind the posts for the second half. Crowd getting behind Fiji

behind who’s posts? Will we see Fiji score tries at your end?

Be sure to hold your phone in the air with a light on when it’s likely you’ll be on camera.

How good and committed a half that was by the Bati!

Turuva is a star. Awesome from an aging Naiqama turning back the years in the centre. Wakeham and Koroisau doing well in the halves and Tagituamua is going well at #9.

NZ look most dangerous when they speed up the ruck and go out to Mulitalo.

Fiji looked tired in the last five minutes of the half. I hope they can stick in it and unnerve NZ. The Kiwis do look a bit #CLUNKY.

Old Man Naiqama strikes again, but does the VR agree... YES!
