The guy who formed that club and is their head coach is a Giants fan and took the name from the ill-fated Huddersfield name from the mid 80's hence where the club's colours come from too.

Spot the "deliberate" mistake

Has some scalliwag hidden a Wigan badge amongst the logos embedded in the fabric?

I am not looking forward to the new kit... I assume that they will also make the GB kit

A tribute to Alan Partridge... or at least whoever uploaded that clip from The Day Today without spellchecking his video title first.

Not my favourite of theirs, but generally white v on black is hard to make rubbish.

I'm not sure if get this obsession with just keep reusing kits. I know retro is big business. But I think we should play on that with alternate kits or training tops etc rather than just cut and paste jobs for the main kit.

I suppose you get to the point of all original thought is used up eventually but retro defo seems to be in at the moment.

Your first paragraph is why I'd just like them to pick the England colour scheme and general theme and keep to it, if it's all white with some trim or white with red and blue (GB) or whatever.. make some tweaks but keep the general theme and its hard then to mess up

Yeah, I just find that approach a little... boring tbh. As a Wire fan I like the fact that we have white kits, primrose kits, or blue kits. We have stripes, bands, chevrons, hoops etc - but they all look and feel like Wire shirts.

I'm OK with that same approach for England tbh.

I suppose it's more, for me, linked to how few games we play and the identity.. walking down a street people should know the international shirt and the sport really.. club shirts I like some tradition, every so often going back to the 60s shirts or whatever they may chose, but with a full season and keeping the general theme they'll will work OK.

Just a taste thing I suppose (edit: and by "taste thing" I mean I have it and everyone who disagrees with me doesn't 😉)
