We were 4 points behind, hardly no chance.

Clueless but only 4 points behind 👍🏼

Obviously at the end you were at you saw much more of the game than I did being in the noisy bit, Leigh simply bombed chances that they normally put away which usually happens when they play to the popular end.

Be honest Meast, when you see the type of football that Mr Lam has got his charges playing it pales into insignificance how Mr Watson approaches the game.

No way this game should be replayed from any point. Leigh have to forfeit. It would be unfair for so many reasons.

- Huddersfield had to shell out for costs for a no result.

- Huddersfield get fatigued players through no fault of their own to then have to play again.

- Leigh have been unable to fulfill a fixture.

Is that Leigh's fault or the stadium management company who Leigh pay rent to?

I didn't go so can't comment.

You're totally entitled to your opinion on Mr Watson.

Let's see how Mr Lam fayres when things aren't going so well before we cast judgement 👍🏼

How long does it need to be? The Leigh twitter feed had it as 48 mins played when the lights went out.

It used to be three quarters of the game, but other posters, and news feeds are saying it is now decided by the RFL after both clubs submit their reasons for it to be replayed or restarted from the remaining minutes.

Well nice of Derek to order the plug to be pulled on the lights just as we were getting on top, either that or the ridiculously over loud, badly sounding band blew the electric.

Shame he can't use some of his money to pay a decent electrician !!

I'm only jesting before anyone starts.

We were very poor on the edges in the 1st half and Leigh took advantage but we looked pretty decent up top.

Not sure how it took them an hour to decide to announce the game was off, our players had already been over and told their friends and family it was off.

They didn't bomb them they were fantastic defensive efforts, twice by Will Pryce and a combination of McQueen and Connor, give the defence some credit, you outdid us on the edges but through the middle we were more than equal.

60 minutes was the old “cutoff” for the result to stand. Surprisingly a number of amateur games which were abandoned had run for 61 minutes. Sometimes forgetting to stop the watch during a fight was useful n

What to do if a game is suddenly cut off and can't be finished? There's a great idea in some sports,  and what you do is

In football it’s pretty much at the discretion of the governing body whether the match will stand, be replayed in full or continued from the point and score it was abandoned at at a later date.

RU is similar but they write in such an over complicated way (as you’d expect) that almost anything could happen.

Cricket just shrug their shoulders and carry on to the next match.

It will be a hindrance but it will need replaying and probably all scoring null and void in the 16-12 game.

Shouldn’t happen in a modern stadium and embarrassing really but there will be no shared points, no concession, nothing with Leigh going for top 4.

If the cut off is still 60 mins, full replay it is ! No other fairer way.

A good few years ago (30?) there was a spate of floodlight failures at Football League games. I'm pretty sure it was linked to Far East betting rings who stood to lose money if the result stood.

RL should make them play Sunday, from when the game stopped, with no fans. Or award a point to both sides and move on. 😐

It should be up to the away team to put forward how they want this to complete as they are the most inconvenienced by the situation.

Both teams are inconvenienced by the situation, but the distance is not that far, you seem to forget that in the heartlands it is not like travelling to the near Scottish Borders, which would be a calamitous situation.
