Is there a reason you aimed this question at me?

I questioned Hull releasing him and mentioned that he was one of their best players. You replied that he hasn't. He had a great game at Leigh also, I know Hull can write this season off without any repercussions, but still don't know why they let him go.

Because he was a bad egg and wasn’t performing

Hull Live saying that Hull have signed Treigh Stewart and Jed Cartwright, both will come over this season. Don't know too much about either tbh. No doubt there will be comments in some quarters about nepotism but John Cartwright doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would bring him across if he didn't think he could do a job. Besides he can't possibly be as bad as Jordan Lane.

One of the best and hardest working second towers in the SL. Well deserved and thanks for your services Kai if true 👍

Treigh Stewart is a very exciting signing. Been a fantastic player in reserve for the dragons and now signed for the storm, killing it for Brisbane tigers in QLD cup currently. Unlucky to have not had an NRL debut already. Also another PNG player in SL, believe he is the 10th.

That's nearly enough Cartwrights for an episode of Bonanza.

Halifax have signed for 4 Frenchmen in the recent Weeks. Clement Boyer, a quality front rower from Carcassonne. Mathieu Pons a quick, athletic winger from Saint Gaudens.

Another Front Rower in Francois Dorce-Hantz from Avignon, and the best signing in my opinion is Maxime Rostang. Been training with Halifax I expect him to announced soon. He is an 18 year old Halfback from Avignon who has been staring in Elite 1 this season, he has an exceptional running game and I truly believe he will become a star HB in SL for many years. One of the best young talents in France.

Looks like Leigh will Announce Aaron Pene from Melbourne Storm today. Looks very much in the mould of Tom Amone and has 32 NRL appearances. Direct replacement for Ben Nakabuwai.

Matty English off to Cas on loan. Is Watson souring on him? With Burgess confirmed coming in and George King strongly rumoured, will be interesting to see if English will still be at Huddersfield in 2025.

Jake Connor is a dam good player..What he requires is a very strong coach bordering a father figure .Sometimes an arm round does wonders...If he was managed in a way that suits his needs as well as the clubs then I'm sure results would follow..He's a young man who clearly has ability. Harness it...

Shaun Wane comes to mind...

Not that young. He’s 30 this year. Another wasted talent because of what’s between the ears

confirmed now. Good to get another piece of next years puzzle in place now so he can get used to things at the club and hopefully learn a thing or 2 from Tom Amone before he goes.

Didn't know Connor was 30....

I stick with my untested opinion..He'd been brilliant if he got himself sorted..

I've seen so much wasted talent over the years.. Would I have him at Leigh?.

Brilliant question.

Yes I would because  the ability there.
