Lannon released early to take up his contract at Widnes. Was very good for us when he dropped out of SL but this season has played a big part of our pack been dominated each week and its a shrewd move by Fax as we are getting some decent players on DR from Leeds and to be honest Ive seen more effective planks of wood.

Catalans have signed Reims Smith from the Storm.  I think they’ve got a good , experienced player there.  Surprised they let him go.  I suspect he’ll replace Romano but we’ll see.

With TJ out, I reckon he'll replace Laguerre with Ikuvalu staying on wing. Good player

Were they team mates in academy? I thought Aydin came through Trinity set up 3 years before Ruan who came through with the likes of Lewis Murphy/Joe Law/Oliver Pratt

Makinson and Cotric ? I’d think Ikavalu is leaving. He is still off contract at the end of the year and also I’m not sure Catalans will have enough overseas spots left.

Clement Martin has signed with Catalans. One of the best young French players in the world and even one of the best young centres in the world.

Was originally going to be leaving League and signing with Montpellier in the top 14 so fantastic news he is now staying.

From Lezignan, he was superb in Elite 1 this season and fantastic for the France U19s. Had offers from NRL Clubs, SL, Top 14 and Catalans.

Catalans making some really good signings for next season think they will be back pushing Wigan and Wire.

I think he’s only here for 2024 season but I would imagine they’ll be wanting him for 2025 if he puts in.
