The Shay somewhat of a bogey venue for us (no win since 2019) so I’d snap your hand off for this.

Can’t see you being as bad as that 2nd half vs Widnes either.

Usually in Sunderland, sometimes in Sheffield.

Write for a few rugby league websites, mainly about the Kingstone Press Championship.

Decent performance from Toulouse though the 36 points difference is a bit flattering. Haven played well, created loads but couldn’t finish. An entertaining encounter with both sides throwing the ball around. Ref did well with only a handful of penalties. Tough for Haven coach Jonty Gorley who is having to work with the bare bones of a squad so credit to him.

Top travelling support who enjoyed the fun in the sun, just a pity their boys couldn’t have converted more of their chances.

Some good performances from the home side. Stand off Ryan Rivett looks like he’s settling in at this level and Anthony Marion was top notch. Good debut for Mac Walsh at centre. Veteran Dom Peyroux looked like a spring chicken.

I can, we really haven't a full squad to call on. The CC game against Hammersmith was a disaster for us with three main first teamers ruled out with long term injuries. Add on a small squad with three more players out now, Douglas who hasn't put a shirt on yet, and our half hearted love affair with Leeds and i make Eagles firm favourites this afternoon. 🙄

You know it really would not surprise me. When our fans are on a downer we do seem to have a habit of pulling out a win from nowhere, similar when things seem to be going well we have a habit of self destructing. Going on form though I just can't see it, I put Sheffield up there with Bradford in the race for second and they will take some beating.

Shame to hear this because he’s a top player and man. Will undoubtedly be a fans favourite when he’s up and running. Will be apt for him to make his debut today and have a stormer 😅

Great player. We were very sorry to lose him.

Some eyecatching scores around the league today.Wheels seem to have totally come off at Fax whilst Sheffield continue to fly high, and a good win for York, every time Bradford seem to be showing signs of improvement they revert to type. Doncaster must have put in a massively-improved performance from last week judged on the scoreline at Barrow, sounds like Batley had a proper dig for the first half at least against Wakefield. Exciting game at Fev with both teams mounting stirring fightbacks. Big score for Swinton too.
