Williams chosen as MOM but Farnworth looked the best player on the pitch by a long way for me

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I wonder if I have been watching a different game. Farnworth has been good, but we won this in the spine.

I think Ashton is in with a shout too. Two tries, earned penalties galore and started most England sets on the front foot.

Quoting myself but would any other sport get this quality of coverage? Football and Union, similar sports would have half a dozen replays of each score

It's been so poor. We had a better look at Harry Smith's pants than some of the key moments.

Sorry scenes.

Asiata could perhaps have been binned. I thought he escalated it.

One thing that pleases me is how evenly our world class talent is plead across Super League. With some NRL players also able to step up of course.

I think Lewis and Luai eyed each other up and recognised each other in themselves a bit.

Great atmosphere, best at an England game for quite some time. More games at Wigan please. Very enjoyable.

Solid pass for me all things considered.

Well done England.  They were miles better than Samoa.

Enjoyed that a lot.

Is that allowed?

So did I, got better as the game went on. Really looking forward to next week now. Gonna be fun.

One thing about that Test was I was 100% bought in. I'll be honest, over the years when we have played teams below Aus/NZ I've always partly wanted them to give a good show of themselves and us not to blow them out of the water. I genuinely wanted us to smash them, I want to see us smash them next week and the atmosphere seemed better than many other games in recent years.

A lot to like.

I wouldn't be surprised if we now get Headingley sellout, or very close to it.

Only just over 2,000 currently available.

Enjoyable game. England never in any real trouble and dominated most of the game. Samoa were gifted a couple of tries and whilst they improved in the second half, were too far off the pace. England can tidy things up and move up another gear. I think Samoa will too before next week. It should be a good game next week.

Yeah, it was far more positive and lively than Tonga last year even if it wasn't as close on the scoreboard.

they were always going to  be-  its called predictable and pointless - just like the Tonga series - bring on the Aussies if we want a proper test series

Aye, but don't forget the locals in those parts have not seen much Rugby League for a while.🤭
