they were always going to  be-  its called predictable and pointless - just like the Tonga series - bring on the Aussies if we want a proper test series

I mean we all want to play the Aussies. However when they don't want to play us it either leaves us playing no games or alternative teams. I prefer to see games so vote for games like today.

But also, we really should be playing teams like Samoa anyway, irrespective of what is going on with Oz.

It's a really weird complaint.

Sounds promising. How do we know this to be the case?

I checked on the ticketing website.

No seats left on sale. About 100 standing in the south stand and about 1,000 at each end.

The one thing that isn't accounted for is hospitality places.

I agree we should be playing Samoa - but in a meaningful comp- not a pointless run out

Nobody's forcing you to watch the games and nobody cares what you think.

Ok, I have said it to you once and I will say it again and for the last time so you stop quoting me, I will not interact with you any more on this forum.

The only reason I am not saying why is to keep the thread from being locked.

The other issue is tickets that are out with partners, clubs etc.

But today's game should have been a good advert for.next week.

We were a bit clunky but still dominant. I didn’t think they were really in it tbh . We gave them 12 and could and maybe should have won by more . I thought their slowing down and spoiling at the ruck was pretty ridiculous and very lucky to have 13 throughout really . I enjoyed the game though I don’t think you can beat test rugby and I think we’ve got a good squad , best for a good while . Herbie must be the best centre we’ve had for ages

why would it be locked? because we are debating the merits of the 2 match series and we have different opinions?

Happy enough bar some sloppy defence on our right hand side and giving them a couple of trys. I like where the side is at and have done for a while but we need to move on to some bigger tests. I thought our spine was the difference with all of them having good games and Farnworth and Young brought what we'd hoped for and are the type of big, athletic backs we've not had for a while.

Enjoyable game. Lots to like about England, who will be even better with Thompson, Wardle and Nsemba eventually getting in.

Not a great attendance, and they only woke up in the 79th minute after a bit of hiss hoss with the boys. Hopefully Bateman cops a 1 match ban for it...

The ball movement and more specifically the speed of it from England was excellent today, probably the best I’ve seen. Really worked over the Samoan defence and they had no answer. Wore them out

I hope Nsemba gets game time next week, seeing him go head to head with their pack will be box office, and a huge test of his current level.

100% he must play with KPP on the edges , whats to be learned from playing Bateman again . Thompson as well

I'd drop him anyway, he didnt do much and he is now yesterdays news. Nsemba, is the future, he needs the experience.

Two big ball runners on the edges like that would be great to see.

It's the only real error from Wane today not picking Nsemba IMO. His loyalty to players can be his biggest strength and greatest weakness. There are just some players you can't ignore and have to make room for and he's one of those. I lile Morgan Knowles but I don't see much point in him as a bench player. In terms of Bateman, he's definitely lost a bit of that fight that made him special but I'd still pick him and use Nsemba from the bench to cause a bit of chaos.
