In 1961 Alan Shepherd became the 2nd man to travel into space. When reporters asked Shepard what he thought about as he sat atop the Redstone rocket, waiting for liftoff, he had replied, 'The fact that every part of this ship was built by the lowest bidder.'

That must be why the sets on Blakes 7 wobbled so much.

The Sixth Commandment on BBC again highlights how a good cast can enhance a story . Incredibly harrowing and creepy , but i cannot believe it is based on true story , what some people are capable of is shocking .

Catching a killer series on C4 documents this tragedy , still able to view on their streaming service.

watched the first one - slower than a snail pulling a brick uphill - typical BBC - something that could have been done in 90mins has to be dragged out over 4 hours

Just finished watching the latest series of Traitors from Australia. It might be trash, but it's seriously good TV. I've enjoyed all 3 series shown on BBC.

Spoiler alert!

It proves how poor most people are at telling whether people are lying, despite all thinking they are good at it. I do suspect though, that it's one of those programmes (like Big Brother) where the first season will be best. Players will be far more sceptical next time around.

One thing about the programme bugs me though. When the traitors are low on numbers, they are expected to recruit. It's not bad at first, but when you've only got 6 players left with 1 traitor and they recruit before then killing, you then have 5 players with 2 traitors. Also, the newly recruited traitor becomes almost impossible to read for the other players.

The result is a huge advantage in winning for the traitors.

I saw a repeat of an old Naked Video show on BBC2 last night. It was a Scottish sketch show and was where Rab C Nesbitt started out and the baldy man.

I can remember staying in with my (to be) Mrs on a Friday night and watching that as we saved for a deposit on a house. It was quite dated but still a few good laughs in there.

The new BBC "drama" Wolf is absolute garbage  . Script is clunky , actors look wooden and unconvincing , couldn`t acrually make my mind up whether it was supposed to be a thriller , a horror story or a Brian Rix farce (one there for our older readers ) don`t bother wasting your time with this .

My stepmother used to be a nurse, and once was in a hospital where Gregor Fisher aka Rab C.Nesbitt was a patient. A memorably appalling patient, apparently, considering my stepmum rarely has a bad word for anybody.

I was put off by the praise from the kind of people I despise but I was wrong. If you have Disney+ then put on Only Murders in the Building. It is so well made. Martin, Short and Gomez having a great time and some absolutely fantastic lines and gags.

I don’t know if this has been mentioned before but i thought id ask to see if Together TV is still on Freeview, or has it been booted into touch !.

Coincidence, I was actually asking my brother this same thing this morning. It still shows up on my listings but whenever I try to get on it I just get a black screen. Don't know if I need to just retune the tv or whether it has disappeared completely. Bro didn't know either.

Watched the 2020 Spike Lee film American Utopia last night on Sky Arts .Features David Byrne and a musical ensemble doing a stage show featuring old and new songs written by David Byrne .Lots of classic Talking Heads songs featured and the band is really good and as usual with the lad everyone dressed in grey suits all play standing up and lots of choreographed moves .... For all Talking Heads fans it`s a must see .

According to the FreeView website, it still is on. Have you retuned recently?

I did retune Futtocks but with no look. I do have it on my tv list along with the +1 channel, but with no picture. The channel does have some decent programmes on it.

If it's in your EPG but not viewable (I assume it isn't a subscription channel), contact them and ask what's up. Some of these smaller channels aren't always aware of technical problems unless viewers tell them.
