Cornwalls biggest threat to future success and this is something that is essential. Lack of players committing to long term by moving down. Last week as hurricanes we heard apparently they are training up country and most players still live north.

Any club at any level needs stability of squad which means players hanging around. I feel it's still seen as a stop gap until they get a contract 'locally'

These challenges are all well known from other attempts to have sides darn sarth.  So the business plan (assuming there was/is one) should have identified how they would meet these challenges.

Yep I don’t have sympathy with the attracting players.

Of course you dont as your club has absolutely no idea how hard it is to get players to leave Lancs/Yorks, and the extra finance it all carries. Its often easier to get a lad to move Hemisphere.

Delighted for everyone at the club.

if that's the case, they may want you to miss the next home game...😉

It takes wisdom to know when a discussion has run its course.

It takes reasonableness to end that discussion.

It clearly means so much to them too, brilliant.

Especially when they have accepted defeats with such good grace. They're a truly great bunch of lads and thoroughly deserve the celebration.

Commiserations to the Skolars. I'm sure that Joe Mbu will turn things around.

Doncaster next... Should be a good day at the Mem!

The attendance wasn’t in League Express, any idea what it was?

The same League Express that made Keighley its team of the week, on the entirely false premise that it was Keighley's first win over Bradford since 1945 🙂

Nice to see such a lot of supportive coverage in local media and also the reaction of fans on social media - seems like a real bond between the team and fans that you don't get everywhere.

Were any C1 attendances published?

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

I'm sure I saw somewhere early on in Cornwall's early days, a commitment to having a third of their players from the South West. Was I imagining that and if not, does anyone know how that pledge is going?

Just click on the players, seems to be plenty locals in the squad.
