I never have Dav, never been one as long as he has a hole where the sun don't shine, full back or wing for me.

He’s still a solid fullback especially defensively but lacks the pace these days to be an effective top level winger.
Not being able to retain Aekins with his pace & link play leaves a big hole in that back line.

Hopefully not, but that's a completely different matter At the moment, he's probably the best full back and one of the two best centres at the club. Am sure Lam will have an idea on who is the best option where though.

I think we'll miss Aetkins. Much improved over the course of last season, and pace to burn.

Any truth in the rumour that Caleb refused to play for Leigh again because he "didn't want to play rugby looking like Bet ####### Lynch"?

Ha. Doubtful but I wouldn’t blame him.

I think it was a case of English full backs being available. Plus there were rumours that he wanted to go back home during the season. Shame we couldn’t keep him. Excellent player.

Isn't Leigh nearer to the Welsh border than featherstone? 😜

Fusitua was great when on the pitch, he’s not lacking effort but is lacking gametime because of injury.

Your idea of great is different to mine then I'd say French who played wing when back from injury was great,I hope Fusitua proves me wrong and tears it up next season.

Reports in Sydney that Wakefield have signed former Bulldogs forward Renouf Atoni on a 1 yr deal.

Atoni moved to the Roosters last season but failed to register a first grade appearance & the club have released him from his contract to take up Wakefield’s offer.

Decent signing, big unit, only 27, 40 NRL games, plenty to prove. What's not to like.

Struggled with injuries last season but hopefully for you he’s over them and as we’ve seen it’s often the unheralded imports that have a big impact.

Is that really the threshold? Unless you outperform French you can't have a good season?

Decent signing and probably the sort of place SL clubs will actually find value.

Defensively he's limited, poor tackler. Lots to like with the ball though.

He was a big part of Leeds getting so far last year. Think a lot of people assumed he was past it but I think he'll be fantastic at the Leapords

Similar to the David Fifita we brought over way back, and he turned out OK.  Fingers crossed.
