Saints have sold out their initial allocation and have a few more from the RFL.

Haven’t seen the top tier of the West Stand open though. Still a quite a few available on the RFL website. I’m going for a 60-65k attendance.

I believe the top tier of the West and East stands are primarily for community clubs and organisations, so that's probably why few are free via the RFL or clubs.

LOL, Knowles now free to play after a second appeal.

Arm twisted behind his back and then straightened. Whoever's on the panel doesn't know what they're looking at if they say the arm wasn't forced into an unnatural position. St Helens should stand him down for the GF and apologise for sullying the game by appealing his ban.

Disgraceful turn of events.

In light of tonight's news and the likelihood that Hopoate will play, I'd expect us to line up like this:

Hopoate, Makinson, Hurrell, Mata'utai, Percival, Welsby, Lomax, Lees, Roby, Paasi, Batchelor, Sironen, Knowles
Subs: Lussick, LMS, Wingfield, Bell

It's very harsh on Bennison but I think it would be the right call for him to drop out. I'd be really confident with him at full back, but Hopoate offers more in attack. I'd be a bit more concerned with him on the wing, especially one-on-one defence.

We have a couple out but this will be the strongest squad we've named since probably Good Friday. Leeds' absentees are more disruptive to them.

I do expect us to win the match, and if we play near our best, we will. But this is 80 minutes of rugby and anything can happen.

Anything can happen the way RL is being run,no wonder fan's of other sports don't take it seriously.

No disrespect to you Chris, but in light of the ban being recinded I couldn't care F'king less.

The game has hit new lows.

Tonight's news paints the game's guardians in such a bad light.

Echoing others from above, it does make one feel dispirited and dismayed.

In many ways Saints will win on the field but lose hearts and minds. A Pyrrhic victory if ever there was one.

If Saints had one iota of decency they should drop Knowles and let Bennison play. The kid has had his chance taken away by the clowns at the RFL. Feel sorry for the lad if this happens.

Come on folks... play nicely. You know the rules by now.

Rules are open to appeal.

And then an appeal on the appeal.

And then a tribunal on the appeal's appeal.
