Their record is 31k v Saints in 1953 and their record at LSV is 10,556 v Batley in 2016. I wonder what record was set tonight, the highest since they became the Leopards?

It does say Leigh Leopards. The Batley game was free admission too so hardly the same.

Great following for Rovers at Wakey tonight... what a season!

Best thing about this year for us is how much younger the crowd has been, home and away. We're capturing a new generation, exactly what we needed (and the sport needs). All in all, it was well worth the 4 hour drive up tonight 🔴 ⚪ 🔴

Apparently this site says I "won the day" here on 23rd Jan, 19th Jan, 9th Jan also 13th December, whatever any of that means. Anyway, 4 times in a few weeks? The forum must be going to the dogs - you people need to seriously up your game. Where's Dutoni when you need him?

10,350 at Saints which is up 2,128 on last years loop fixture against Wakey.

I think the weather put quite a few of the floaters off, even the ones that stand with me who pay at the gate could not be enticed to come out tonight in the heavy rain. It was either stay at home or go the pub and watch the Leigh/Wigan match in comfort. Even a season ticket holder couldn’t be arsed coming. If i hadn’t have had a season ticket i wouldn’t have bothered myself.
Fair play to the FC fans who made the journey for a nothing game, hopefully there was no diversions on’t way home.

P.S two Saints fans got on the pitch during the game i hope Saints ban them. I don’t know if a spectator can be fined for going onto the pitch but Saints should if they can. The second maggot that got on the pitch threw a punch at one of the stewards who was escorting him from the pitch, the steward wasn’t a young lad in his prime either. But the Yoof who got on the pitch was embarrassing.

That’s great to hear. I hope the club goes from strength to strength in 2024. I always thought Willie Peters had a good footy brain. I think he will grow to be a successful coach for you.

$5,000 fines in NSW for pitch invasions. Life bans for repeat offenders.

Hull KR announced a season average of 8793 at the end of the Salford match on Saturday, our highest in 42 years. That's 12% growth on last year's 7788, and 25% greater than when we first got back into Super League.

The higher 1980/81 average was in the season after we'd won the Challenge Cup at Wembley, so quite a benchmark. For those of you too young to remember, I'd just like to take this opportunity to highlight that the team we beat at Wembley that year was Hull FC, and the score was 10-5. Not that at Rovers we ever like to remember it, barely thought about it since, but you know, just as a point of general interest seeing as we're on the subject. 🤣🤣🤣

I’m just watching the highlights of the KR V Salford game now. The place looked awesome and the noise through the speakers was evidence of a great atmosphere.

I have a feeling that, especially after last night, we've been handed some SL play-off games where we may actually see bigger crowds than for the SL regular rounds. HKR-Leigh and Saints-Wire are massive and Catalans will surely fill their ground again for a home semi (trying to see how I can get there). Wigan vs HKR or Leigh would also be huge. And Old Trafford already selling way faster than last year. Good times ahead over the next month!

Was going to post something similar. Thing the play offs and GF will get good attendances.

I think overall this season the attendances have been positive. Have all clubs increased on last year’s averages and has SL as a whole?

Hopefully this will be the first season when fans actually attend the play offs

Predictions

Hull KR v Leigh Leopards 10000

St Helens v Warrington Wolves 15000

Catalans Dragons v Hull KR or Leigh Leopards 13000

Wigan v St Helens or Warrington Wolves

St Helens 25000

Warrington Wolves 16000

Not sure if it was mentioned but Warrington's average attendance for the season was up nearly 25% on 2022; the average of 10,800 is the best since 2016.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

I didn’t realise Wire’s average was so low last season, even though they were garbage. But anyway, highest average across the comp since 2012 is fabulous news.

Good news about OT, where have you heard that? I can’t go as it’s my son’s birthday, gutted.
