Do England need IMG points because seems like a very IMG-y thing to do?

If we can win the Ashes by having a permanent set of LED advertising boards at Odsal then someone get on the phone to Atlantisman now.

Funnily enough, I believe he was chatting to Lesley Vainikolo, James Lowes and the late Trevor Foster about this at a corporate event last week.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Hi, i’m trying to get 2 tickets for me & my 8yr old for the Leeds game. For internationals/semis/cup finals etc… I normally go near half way line in the highest price bracket - ticketing website is not letting me buy a child’s ticket in those sections.

First time i’ve had this problem - or am i doing something wrong on ticketing site?

They might not sell child tickets for that level of ticket?

yes possibly, but don't recall having that issue at semis/CC/GF/other international  etc before. (i may just have a rubbish memory though 🤔)

I am not being glib, but maybe call them (Leeds or the RFL), as I have found in similar situations that the humans can help me in ways that the websites won’t.

From memory there hasn't been concession price brackets in top tiers in some tickets I've purchased.

This image is what appears when you try to buy tickets, clear as the nose on your face, no concessions in Cat A.

Sorry catching up on this thread.
Wigan RL capacity is about 25K correct?  So we cannot even sell out a 25K stadium in the "Heartlands", and are reduced to free tickets?

Hasn't he technically commented on work at KFC by saying he hasn't done it?

I hope he never comments on referee's decisions.

Wigan are now giving a free first test ticket with every 2025 membership renewal

Goodness. Idiotic and depressing.

And Wigan have paid for these tickets, right?

I assume that the RFL take the revenue from an international match and pay the fees to use the ground on the day.

So yes, in this circumstance, Wigan will have to pay the RFL for the tickets used in this promotion.

So they are really using this to incentivise early membership renewal rather than give away free tickets to the England game.

You are only saying that because you're a Wigan fan 😉

Welcome to the backwards world of Rugby League Marketing.

There are tens of thousands of people who have watched Rugby League at Wigan's stadium this year, why not use that information to target the marketing for England playing at that stadium. Not give away free tickets to people who are going to buy a season ticket anyway.

If I was you,if you really want to go I'd say sod it. Get yourself two adult tickets. It's not something you do every week. To me it's a special occasion to watch my country. I'm going and I can't wait.

The NRL goes all in on international rugby league, unfortunately they decided they get 90% of the rewards for 60% of the effort concentrating on PI/NZ/AUS

…and we get in the best case in four years 1 RLWC, 1 ashes, 1 All Gould tour and one begging for a PI coming north

I will definitely be going, had already shelled out £150 for the train tickets 😂

I checked & did get half way line concession ticket for the kid  at last weeks GF.

I wouldn’t bank on Wigan being charged for the tickets tbh.

Just read a recent article from the samoan camp asking what happens when it's 1-1 and the reply was nothing 🤦‍♂️ no golden point or aggregate pts just a draw... geez not even a trophy. What a joke

Here's a thought. Instead of holding these games in "the heartland" where a significant number of fans have already paid to see upwards of 10, 20 or more games this season and so might just say "enough is enough....I'll watch it on TV" , why not have these games in areas where people have not already paid hundreds of £s to attend regular season games?

Yes. If Samoan players are asking whether a 2-match series can really end 1-1 then I'm inclined to view them as a bit of a joke too.
