Defining moment probably that Mourgue tackle, ridiculous effort.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

In that case, can I have a refund on that prostate examination?

Well done both teams. I despise the very ground that Saints walk on. Always have and always will. I despise the way they harangue the ref, how they make constant appeals to him, but without doubt they are a very very good team with some great players, particularly Welsby.  Somehow Cats managed to keep him quiet, though, and that was the difference. Had Saints won, I'd have had no argument, though.

Outstanding contest, heroic effort from the Dragons.

What a refreshing contrast to the game of touch and pass I witnessed earlier at the MKM.

Also Saturday evening/night rugby is brilliant as an attendee or a TV viewer. More please.

The most pleasing aspect for me about Catalans now is the amount of French players who aren’t not just filling gaps in amongst the overseas players but who are leading the efforts every week. Guys like Romano, Da Costa, Rouge and Morgue were superb. I love Catalans as a club but at times I’ve been critical of them being too reliant on overseas players but that looks to be coming to an end and it is absolutely fantastic to see.

A 9.05pm Kick off French time must’ve made for plenty of drinking time for the Saints fans as well😀 It looked a fantastic occasion there tonight.

Amazing tackle by Mourgue.

I guess the ref had as "clear" a view as the other saints try ... got it wrong on both counts although I'm sure some think he grounded this one too... chuckle

Can you send me any leftovers in a doggy bag, please, Paul?  My dog is, coincidentally, a Catalan sheepdog (Gos d'atura Catala, if you prefer!), so I am sure she would appreciate them!  She looks like this:

Catalan are definitely becoming masters of grinding out the win even if not playing at their best, something that very good teams seem capable of

Just caught up on the game, it was entertaining but Im not sure the overall quality was anything to write home about, there seemed to be an error every other set.

The messing around at the PTB was awful aswell

France's 17 looks better than ever right now (or the last 40 years).

1.Arthur Mourgue
2.Fouad Yaha
3.Arthur Romano
4.Matthieu Laguerre
5.? Zenon, Marcon, Escare
6.Theo Fages
7.Cesar Rougé
8.Julian Bousquet
9.Alrix Da Costa
10.Romain Navarette
11.Mickael Goudemand
12.Paul Seguier
13.Benjamin Garcia

14.? Tison, Borouh*,Lacans
15.Justin Sangare
16.Jordan Dezaria
17.Maxime Stefani

Also a lot of good players missing out.

B Laguerre, Miloudi, Franco, Pedrero, Jussaume, V Albert

Marion, Pelissier, Joufrett, Gigot, Brochon, Fabre

Cozza, Springer, Belmas, Chan, Salabio

Would also be great to get Joe Chan but it looks like he has eyes set on NZ.

Catalans are now Unofficial World Club Champions. See other thread on this forum for how that works. Interesting to see if Huddersfield or Hull KR can take that crown from them in the games ahead.

Yes, I agree. But Saints have got a bit raggy and anxious. Cracking game, though.  And it's not over yet. Watching on BBC 3 .Paul Rowley commentating?

Just watched the game, Paul Rowley summarising and what a sterling job he did in my opinion.
