Ok I just saw the replay of the sinbinning.

The first shot was under the chin on the back angle, probably doesn't contact. But Leutele's right arm swings up and hits Welsby in the head.

I guess I can understand why it was a sinbinning.

I'm not sure. Was the VR sure? If he was, I'm not sure how it took him watching the same clip several times to come to that conclusion.

Yes, fair point. I think it only needed one or two checks.

That's kinda what VR's do ...

I think it may even be in their job description.

They only showed it once, and I couldn't rewind it.

I would have appreciated another look or two at it...

Yea, I am sure it'll be on twitter soon if it isn't already to be honest.

He was and shoed away the medical staff but appeared to think twice. I wonder why. It got them back in it though.

The same Saints physio that shoved a potentially injured Tee Ritson to the ground to get Fenton Rogers sent off the other week? wonder if they've been told to do it to get the ref to look?

Of course Derek makes it all about himself.

And why not, the way the bloke has turned the Leigh club around has been a great achievement. The game would be worse off without him.

Congratulations to Leigh on beating St Helens and getting to the playoffs. Pleased for the ever-reliable Charnley, too.

Had to rely on the Radio Manchester commentary and although it favoured Leigh (just as the Radio Merseyside commentary favoured Saints) I did not detect much controversy over refs, unlike in here.

My coulrophobia prevents me from commenting on Leigh's owner.

The best leaders don't make it about themselves though.  He always does.

I accept he has done a lot for Leigh but I just don't like his style... his leadership style, the way he dresses, his tacky car... ah well, each to their own I guess.

Well, they're the only one to put out their own unoffical score ... So I guess so?

Yes. Easy to see through this crude attempt to challenge the RFL. Leigh deserve better.

That’s not a sound bite. It’s unprofessional and detracted from an outstanding performance from Leigh and Ipape in particular. RL domestically is seen as a bit of a joke and has the perception of not run being run professionally throughout its entire structure. Classic example.

Well done Leigh. Superb performance. Best team won. No real complaints and good to hear Wellens didn’t have any either.

Just leave this here…..

Read the release first before making assumptions you’ll look less silly.

They’ll head same way as Leeds.

Key players nearing end of their careers. Players like Makinson, Percival, Walmsley,Clarke and Lomax not at same levels they were few years ago.

Surprised you leave out Morgan Knowles from that list, said it for a while now after all the accolades he receives he is still not the best 13 at Saints that is James Bell, really happy when Wellens took Bell off - dont think he was injured but will have to watch it back - Saints play bucked up nd was more positive while he was out there.

Bell was a great player at Leigh hence Saints picking him up, he looks a shadow of his former self and is too predictable with his only move under Wellens the short ball to a prop at the line.

Cracking game that and, as Leeds lost, was the correct pick for the main Sky broadcast.

I thought that crazy unnecessary offload from Pene whilst Leigh were down to 12 looked like turning the game on its head but they hung on until Leutele returned.

Well played Leigh.

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.
