So in order to create two teams , One on the field (strarting from scratch) and one off the field to expliot any success the club has by developing the fan base. But that money is on top of the money being paid to AFC Wimbledon. So you would need to forensically examine the books before committing to buy..

The big thing for the RFL is to consider is it's responsibility to the game as a whole, no purpose would be served letting London Bronocs start and then collapse mid-season when the limited money runs out ,for that would produce a domino effect on other Championship clubs as creditors take fright.

Like others I am holding back on the £ 175 until I know who is backing the club. If no investor or group of investors is coming in, then I am afraid it is curtains. ☹️

Looks like Plough Lane won’t be an option then. A long slow decline awaits before the inevitable unless serious investors are found.

I manifested this.

I was born to run a club like this. Number 1, I do not spook easily, and those who think I do, are wasting their time, with their surprise attacks.

I'd like to know a bit more about who's behind this, but in principle I'll sign up if I'm there's a chance if keeping the sport going down here.

Although I do still wonder if keeping the Broncos afloat is the best way of doing that.

Wouldn't it be better to put £90k into starting up a new club in L1 that everyone can get behind afresh?

"Buying a stake in the Broncos" better not mean giving money to Hughes.

I hope it can. I think a Supporters of London RL Co-op should do better than a Broncos Supporters Co-op. You also have the advantage of it perhaps sticking around if the Broncos don't - it could contribute to the community junior game.

I'll be in it.

This is 10 years too late. There too few people left around who care. Of course, Hughes wanted nothing to do with the LBSA and the club did everything it could to undermine it, probably the only success of his reign.

Probably more. £30 is starting rate for membership. Which suggests premium membership levels will be available for those with deeper pockets.

I share Nadera78's fear Broncos destruction of LBSA will make it a real challenge to enthuse the few remaining fans about this body.

There’s no debt to Hughes owed.

With the usual caveats about source, Gledhill is reporting that both London and Cornwall are close to being sold, the latter with the assurance they will stay in Cornwall.

I can't see that being anything other than true then.
