There’s definitely an opportunity here for Wakefield to grab competition points at Warrington looking at recent performances of the respective teams.

That said Warrington will want to bounce back from the Wigan mauling as soon as they can.

Should be a cracking game.

Warrington 24-28 Wakefield

Real prediction is that it will be close again. Warrington at home should give them an edge but I expect trinity and Warrington will want to show up well after a below performance last week. I do think Trinity have the ability to get a win.

Bookies weren't far out last week v Saints and Wakey get a similar 16 start against Wire which looks about right.

Would hope we can score a few more points though.   32-16 maybe?

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

Trinity will win this easily if they get the ball to the wings, they have John Stone, Tom Johnstone and Tom-Jon Stone all playing so will outnumber Wire's winger easy.

Trin by 20, J Stone x2, Stone x1 and Johnstone x1 will see Wire off.

My god one defeat and Warrington are relegation material, hopefully Wakefield players turn up with this over confidence, Wakefield are competitive but expect Warrington to win

Wire must forget and move on from the Wigan game. Wakefield will see this as an opportunity for a win with all that's gone on.Come on Warrington, come on you Wire. Wire by 12.

Going to be tough for Wakey to win this, but I think they will give it a good go. Also I think Powel needs to swap things around a bit from the 17 he selected against saints.

Yeh I don't think going with Russell and Doyle on the bench is the right call imo.

Heart says Wakey head says wire at home will be looking to bounce back and have too much for us. Then again no Ashton is a big miss for them imo.

Wire to bounce back

38-4

Bounce back from where? This season The Wire hardly convincing at all in the victories v Giants and Cats and probably the least said about their sojourn across the big pond the better.

Looking forward to watching this game, if Wakey piay to keep the ball alive I fancy them to edge it.

Anyone know the reason for the 1pm KO times for this and the Wigan game? Not a common time. I assumed Sunday was chosen to max the recovery time from LV.

There's an American vlogger who I follow on social media attending this game today, so if you see a fat bloke with a big beard and a cowboy hat being too loud and seemingly not having a clue about the rules, he's called Kalani.
