and is good at writing open letters .... so I would imagine an open letter demanding more money for the northern game of RL and that the Government ain't doing enough for our sport.... (yes tongue in cheek).... job done and back to the ceremony role..... yep I'm cynical

Andy Burnham''s got some principles:

He was actively involved in pushing for justice for the families of Liverpool supporters affected by Hillsborough.

I believe he donates a proportion (10%?) of his mayoral salary to the homeless.

More generally, he's a voice for the north.
