Discuss the SL fixture between Huddersfield Giants and St Helens here.

John Drake is supposed to be back from his jollies today but I’m not sure what time so I’ve bunged this one up for discussion today.

Should be a good scrap this one.

It might be but with the style of football the Giants are becoming known for there can surely be only one winner, I would dearly love to be wrong and there have been a few upsets this season already

Jake Connor is back so hopefully the returning home grown star winds the ill disciplined Saints lot up allowing Messrs Pryce, Lolohea, Russell et al to weave their magic and claim a famous win as the Cowbell army roar them on to victory....

Can't see it myself and i'll be happy with keeping them under 2 or 3 scores difference.

Jake Wingfield has not been named in our 21 man squad and there's no word of an injury. Give he's been a regular in the 17 for a while now, that's unusual.

Don't think a win for either side would be a shock here. Both capable of it but both haven't hit their standards so far this season. I expect quite a low scoring, close match.

Saints should win this as we've made a lot of changes, some tactical, some through injuries and ahem... Infections caused by a certain pitch I've heard.

We were unlucky against Wigan, undercooked against Wire, decent against Cas, I think it will be a good game and closer than people expect it to be.

Nice new half back partnership, a debut and a second coming for the Giants too.

Wellens has said Wingfield has been carrying a few niggling injuries to both leg & shoulder and after the Hull game his shoulder one flared up again, so they're resting him this week as a precaution.

Percival is having another fitness test today so its 50/50 whether he plays or not this week.

Mata'utia & Hurrell will definately play this week which is a big boost, and we may ever see the lesser spotted Hopahurty manage a few minutes on the pitch (before limping off again with a stubbed toe 😁 )

Quite a big test this for Huddersfield. No wins from three home games against presumed contenders wouldn't be a good omen for their own prospects, and I think they have a top-4 quality squad. Hopefully Saints can try to rein in the late shots tonight.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Home grown? No way, he’s from Halifax

Voted fro Giants and do hope they win this one.

Amazing I think that my vote made it 50% each, a close match then.

Home grown in a rugby sense, he came through Huddersfield's youth system thereby making him homegrown by the club rather then being brought in from another.

Ahh yes, Cas are obviously odds-on for trophies this year.

I love quality commentary.

Huddersfield kick the ball and catch it on the full... commentary "and the ball is allowed to bounce".  Outstanding.
