Saints 1/5 odds to win same as Salford last week surprisingly.

Wakey get +12 on the handicap which looks nowhere near enough margin.

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

Saints should hopefully get a few more players back this week. Lees is definately back, Hurrell should be back given he could have played last week but the club decided to not risk him and give him another weeks recovery. Sironen having a fitness test on Friday and may also return but given his recurring hamstring issues I suspect they may also give him more time until they're absolutely sure he's fit.

Wakey were done when losing to Cas.

When Lineham dropped that aimless kick from Austin, to be more precise.

Realistically this is the last chance Saints will have to close the points difference gap with Wigan & Catalans so it will be interesting to see whether Wellens changes tactics to really go for it. Their last 3 games are against Leigh, Wire & Hull so likely to be closely fought matches.

Saints need 1 more win to guarantee a top 4 finish, they need to win the next 2 to guarantee a top 3 finish, and probably need to win all 4 remaining games and rack up at least 1 big score to get a top 2 finish.

Will be a comfortable Saints win next week.

Wakefield weren't great against Castleford and although I've not seen the match, a 20-0 loss at Salford suggests they were poor last week too.

If they don't up their game, I'd expect a Saints win by between 20 or 30.

I know we're supposed to stick to this match but Castleford playing on Saturday could be important. If they win, I think Wakefield give up. If they get a hiding, Wakefield will sense an opportunity.

Yeah not the big changes we were told to expect. Same same old I’m afraid!

Quite honestly Morris, there is nothing much he could change in reality we don't have the players or squad strength. Whichever team we turn out out Sunday will make little difference, Saints are too good
