Great tight tense game, truly horrendous coverage from Sky.

How sterile is the studio analysis.  Even the video screen fails to show the amazing scenes at the ground.

That bit of a magic from Tomkins at the end showed how much we missed Eddie Hemmings. He brought those incredible moments to life.  Today's commentary so mundane.

Both sets of players deserve a round of applause. A game of sheer intensity. Yes we can argue till we're blue in the face about certain decisions, but that just detracts from the commitment of both teams. Well done Catalan. Hard luck St Helens.

Saints did it themselves in the last 20 minutes. Way too many penalties, and the sin bin, the just kept inviting pressure and Catalans were bound to score any points.

Saints should have been down to 12 before that, cats had a fair try disallowed too. Cynical slowing down of ptb all game, cheap shot from Knowles etc. etc.

Great crowd, broing hgame until last 10 minutes or so and great to see fans on the pitch and a lot of youngsters.

Catalan seems to be a smaller version of NZ Warriors.
