Why would the RFL buy The Shay, a soccer ground , when the spiritual home of Rugby League in Halifax for over one hundred years was Thrum Hall?

You’re totally immune to satire aren’t you? 😎

Some bargains to be had at Thrum Hall these days.

Ryan Rivett anyone know anything about him? He's only 21 and will be at TO for 2 years.

From what I've seen and read of him...tall, skinny, very good attacking skillset, physique/defence has perhaps held him back. Did play one first-grade game last year but seemed not to be getting into the NSW Cup team towards the end of last season, though the Knights did have plenty of good halves I think.

Watching him reminds me a bit of Riley Dean and I'm sure Toulouse would take that in a heartbeat, as you know they desperately needed a replacement for Josh Ralph.

Leigh and Salford both chasing Brad Dwyer

Makes sense, given injuries to Ipape and Mellor. Imagine Leigh are only looking at a short term loan though

That won’t be a straight line chase as Dwyer runs all over the place 😀

Huge signing by Hull KR:

That should keep the MRP, the Disciplinary and this forum very busy with his tackling technique and the new laws scheduled to be introduced.

total penalty machine - one of the most penalised and sent off or sin binned players in the history of the game- just what you want next season with the new rules (great player though - tough as they come) but the games not for the likes of him anymore
