Not an anti-Wigan thing, Smith should have got ten minutes there. Tackle without the ball and deliberate holding down to stop Tonga getting a quick PTB.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

I'll probably have a bath, pop out for a couple of pints and then a bit of dinner.

I think there have been a few dubious interpretations.

Whitehead lost control of the ball and it would never have been given under the old interpretation. However, he kept contact with the ball and brought his wrist/hand down on the ball. Obviously, he didn't have control. Under the 2023 interpretations the try should have been given though.

On the fantastic Newman try off Smith's low kick, I thought it was a fairly clear double movement. He came down short and generated a new forward movement off his left arm. Harsh for such a pleasing attacking movement, but the wrong call to give it IMO.

The ball was promoted whilst he was still sliding, surely that isn’t double movement.

Great series win. What this doesnt do is get me excited about a 3 test series against Samoa. It would be nice to get involved with a tri or 4 nations instead.

They've mentioned it at least 4 times so far, they had try scorers, etc at HT
