The ref isn’t sure , doesn’t know or totally guesses … and the VR with all the gizmos and technology is bound by that . Seems strange

Hoping Salford v Leigh will be as fun to watch. See you on the next match thread!

Nope, fair play.

Kebabdul rounds off a fantastic display with the match winner.

He must have really done summat wrong for Hull KR to get rid.

24-34 final score, probably.

Coming back overweight, I heard! He’d be rubbish skinny. Like Samson with his curly perm.

Abdull MOTM for me. Him and Johnstone are deadly.

Yesterday Kyle Amor said that Harry Smith is the best field kicker in the competition, he must never have seen Abdull or Sneyd, but he was a prop wasn't he.

To go with the totally inadequate image quality.

It's pitiful, really. It's like watching cricket catches from 30 years ago. The technology is there, the technology is widely used in other sports, but we're turning up with cheap tech and winging it.

Either equip each game with enough cameras or don't do it at all and leave the decisions solely with the Ref and instruct those who commentate on the game not to put the refs under a microscope.

It's not (just) the number. There is simply no excuse for the level of blur. The tech exists to do better.

Fox sports have about 6 cameras - and of good HD quality - for the bunker to utilise.

What is their investment into the game and what is the return on that investment. You are comparing apples and oranges

Been a good weekend of Easter rugby.

I wasn't convinced that removing the Friday and Monday fixtures was the right thing to do but the second fixture (and impacting the following week) was always a bit flat.  Very happy with the intensity on show.

He's comparing effective with ineffective video ref set ups.

As soon as Sky lost exclusivity they cut investment. If the RFL want the best tech there will be a price to pay.

I am just making the point, if you can't do it properly then don't do it at all, there is far to much from the VR saying I can't see enough to overturn the onfeild decision, as we all know games are won and lost on those inadequacies as was one very recent big big game.

I enjoyed it. We weren't at our best, it appeared that almost every mistake led to a try, Catalans were ruthless. Tactically far better than us. I think Burgess' naivity is showing, we play an awful lot like he wants us to have 13 Sam Burgess'. 4 forwards on the bench again, often 5 drives, flat passes at the line all afternoon, nothing from the dummy halves.

Some work to do tactically.

But I was very pleased that we were even in that, and possibly should have won it with a few minutes to go.

11,214 in attendance.

I'm guessing that's the most home fans we've had in that stadium for quite some time.

Well done Wire, shame about the result. It was frustrating but entertaining enough to hope that most of those in there today will be back.
