Has announced his retirement at the end of the season, a modern great, a Huddersfield legend and one of if not THE best winger in the world a few years back, also an absolute lovely gentleman.

What a career, enjoy your retirement Jez!!!

Worked hard and had the talent to turn himself into a top top player. As you say for a spell right up there with the best in the world.

I just wish that he is not lost to the game, after retirement.

The "Dark Ages" is a term referring to life at the RFL under the new regime. It's characterized by a decline in openness, professionalism, transparency and  achievements,

Been a class act for Wakey this year.

Hope Powell manages his appearances to ensure he's fit for the playoffs.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Being a nice fella is under rated.

Being a great person miles more important than being a great sportsman if you have to choose tbh.

Great that he’s both.

Thought for a minute the former England coach was managing his career there.image.webp.f93a4a752b81f149e5603baeb37d3e2d.webp

Well done JM. Generally consistent, loyal and a great servant to the game of RL and in particular Huddersfield Giants. The likes of yourself and Leroy Cudjoe are quickly becoming RL collectors items. Loyalty is hard to find these days! Happy well deserved retirement and enjoy your kids sporting careers amongst other things.🏆respect.

Can’t better this.

We’ve been lucky to have had him in our sport

There are few that last as long as JM has done at that level, and even fewer who earn 17 England caps ...

A great player and a career to be proud of. Well done, sir.
