My 10,000th really freaked people, because no-one had thought about it before. One of my Jamaican mates invited me to his 10,000th birthday, which fell on a Friday. I didn't get home until 0345 on the Monday.

Bleep1673
One of the complaints about e-scooters, is they are fast, and quiet, therefore undetectable to blind people. But so are bikes, e-bikes, and electric motorbikes & cars, but the politicians are saying they are the future. I nearly got hit by an e-taxi last weekend because I looked the wrong way, at the wrong time. She just drove on. If I had been hit, The Sun & Mail would've be requiring a ban on 60 year old walking alone. Edited July 28, 2021 by Bleep1673
graveyard johnny
why when you ask someone for eg - how old were you in 1989 ? or how old were you in 1995? they immediately answer with something like "i was 14" or "i was 22" - correct me if i am wrong but unless they were born on jan 1st they were 2 ages in any given year you might ask! see you later undertaker - in a while necrophile

If you ask me how old I was in the year 2000 I would answer 52. But you are not wrong as I was born on 1 January. On every other day of the year I can truthfully say " I am not x until next year". On the other hand I cannot say "I will be x this year". I went to an old lady one day and she was having a 21st birthday party that very day. It was Feb 29 and she looked more like 84 than 21! 1 Ron Banks Midlands Hurricanes and Barrow

Only racehorses share the same birthday, they all increase by 1 year on the 1st January, even if they are born Jan 2 or Dec 31 the previous year, that produces a lot of dodgy birth certificates stating birth dates in Jan, rather than Nov/Dec. CornwallRL
Front page of Wikipedia says subversive at the BBC during the Cold War had their files marked with a Christmas Tree. Was this a reference to the tune Tannenbaum, sung as Oh Christmas Tree, is also sung by socialists as The Red Flag?
