Maybe wrong but I don’t think some of those are their real nicknames

Your are right. It is Batley Bulldogs of course and Sheffield is Eagles not Pigeons, though close as both are birds ☺

Should be a very enjoyable and competitive league.Marketed correctly there should be some good attendances, would like to see a number of those fixtures on Sky,as opposed to some 'ordinary' fixtures they sometimes broadcast.Could make for some very good Challenge Cup fixtures in the last 16.

Couldn't help noticing you didn't correct Halifax Sheep Shaggers :scare:

Being serious for a moment, I'd say that Toronto will easily be top, with Toulouse, Widnes and Halifax occupying the play-off places.

Then there'll be Bradford, York and Featherstone challenging, but ultimately falling short of the Top 4.

Leigh should be able to scrape enough players together to be mid-table, along with Batley and Sheffield, then Dewsbury and Barrow.

Swinton and Rochdale looked nailed on for the relegation spots, frankly they should have been relegated last season!

I reckon that's likely to be close, and if that's where York finish I'll be quite happy.

I think Widnes is the tricky one to evaluate. Some really good players, but not many of them. I think Bulls will finish above Fax because we have so many fulltime players. I've placed Fev and Leigh lower than might be expected because, rugby league being rugby league,  their financial issues of last year might recur this year.
