JohnM
I recall a winger in the 1960s, played for Blackpool I think, whose speciality was leaping over players who tried to tackle him. An American, possibly. “If you understand, things are just as they are; if you do not understand, things are just as they are.” Zen Proverb

The Art of Hand and Foot
Paul Lord for Oldham, he was a genuine speed merchant. Oldham v Warrington cc semifinal, Mike ford chipped through, lordy outpaced the defence to touch down. John Holdsworth ruled off side. He didn't believe anyone was that fast. Replays show he was on side .

Saw him at Swinton late 1950s early 1960s but there are probably not many fans from those days still around. “If you understand, things are just as they are; if you do not understand, things are just as they are.” Zen Proverb

The same frisson of excitement when he got the ball as generated by Martin Offiah. 2 “If you understand, things are just as they are; if you do not understand, things are just as they are.” Zen Proverb

Andy Wilson & Phil Fox I thought were both underrated in my opinion.
Futtocks
The wingers who succeeded Offiah and Robinson at Wigan were actually very good, but nowhere near so well-remembered.
