I wonder if Wales are regretting not kicking those couple of nailed on penalties instead of running them.

They aren't going to beat Tonga by scoring 8 or 10 points. Trying to score tries, or at worst tire them out in defence, is a sound strategy.

Someone should tell the ref its not NFL with that pass.

She seems able to pick every other minor infraction up.

Have to say, I think both Samoa and Tonga have not lived up to expectations.  Both seem to have believed their own publicity that they only have to turn up and they will win.

Shame . A try for wales and bombed a try . Two Tonga tries from two errors and that would have been game on . That last try was a kick in the niagara’s for the Welsh . Enjoyed the first half though

This is why i don't like that 6 again mularkey.

You wait till the big game..Eng v Aus..Sutton reffing.

Rugby Union the only game in the world were the spectators handle the ball more than the players.

Great game so far. Anyone know (approx) how many players playing for Wales are form there/played junior footy there? (just curious)

It's just under half the squad born in Wales - 9 or 10 players I think.

Tonga being thrown 6 agains like confetti and it's killing Wales.

Re the captain's challenge - I didn't see the arm leave the ball. Why was it even relevant that he then swapped hands?

Also Tonga lucky to get away with some cheap shots on Fozzard near their own line.

And is it coincidence that I noticed the ref has an Aussie accent?!!

Yes, literally no evidence of the ball even touching the ground.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Once again, Wales have had their chances but not had the courage to stretch the defence by  throwing a pass to their wingers.

Effing Kearball. The Bulls have had years of it.

I think they’ll be regretting running it on the last in good position about 5/6 times. Just needed to give themselves a chance of getting a repeat set. Having said that Wales performance in a game and a half is the most impressive in the WC. Absolutely magnificent effort and commitment.

I'm not fussed about forward passes..refs miss them.

It's the soft 6 again possessions or not punishing the head pushes.
