That wasn't forward at all was it?

Not that Wigan deserve anything.

That'll be the game then for Hull KR.

27-18.

Just now, Ullman said:

Fine player.

He is indeed.

Rovers have done very well to have him  on their books for so long, a really good import.

When Rovers were looking comfortable I switched it off to watch a bit of the WCC. Checked the score to see that Wigan had got back within a try, switched it back on expecting to see a grandstand finish only to see another Rovers try to kill the game. Typical.

Kenny Dowall has been a wonderful signing for Hull KR, always thought he was a bit of a show pony down under.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Oy 30 seconds left and I am not sure we have even been told where Ethan Havard was born yet.

We’ll done KR on a deserved win but Wigan were woeful,it’s only the first game of the season but once again we have very little impact through the middle, something we’ve suffered from & failed to address for a number of years now and not helped by wasting 3 quota places on Isa,Mago & Ellis.

It has been a chastening day for Wigan as a club (though a great one for the NH game). They lost to a much better team today, and the score if anything flattered WIgan. The atmosphere came over really well and it would be great to see those sorts of crowd on a regular basis. They look a club on the up.

Every part of the Wigan club needs to consider why there is a yawning chasm between us and Saints. We have good schools, good juniors, and can spend up to the cap, and yet we are incapable of putting a side on the field with more than a couple of players that would get into the Saints team. As Saints have been excellent for over 25 years now, and a team which will only improve, it is folly to expect them to fall back to our level. I don’t know how you put right structural issues on that scale. Hopefully Matty Peet does.
