There's definitely a better feeling around Hull than there was a couple of weeks ago after a good battling win, the rise of Davy Litten, and now Trueman ready to make his debut. We have also had a week off to rest up and work on some things whereas a good few Wigan players were away with England. Throw in Jail Field's absence and we have a few reasons to go in the game with a bit of positivity.

You'd still be a brave man to put money on Hull. But if we can play with the effort and the spirit shown against Huddersfield we can at least make a game of it.

Wigan by 8, but a Hull win wouldn't be a total shock imo.

Its all about the performance for me. I don't expect a win but as long as the effort is there I can live with a loss. I don't see Wakey getting anything at Wire so a win against Wakey for us will put us 8 points clear and that should be enough to ensure we're still here next season.

Effort and commitment will do me.

Rugby Union the only game in the world were the spectators handle the ball more than the players.

We don't have loads of points in us with Shorrocks at 6. He's done a great job but if the effort areas are slightly off, we could find ourselves in trouble because Hull away is rarely a straightforward fixture for us. Hampshire being available could help the attack flow a little better but I don't expect he will start.

I think we'll get the win but in a close one. Wigan by 6.

The same effort as shown against the Giants and we will happy. Probably not enough to beat Wigan but as long as we are heading in the right direction.

Trueman off the bench by all accounts but expect it to take a game or two for him to get into the full swing of things.
