I care because I'd like to know whether this shows a massive improvement in Trinity which could lead to a huge up turn in their season or whether they still aren't great but Salford are just putting in a particularly poor performance this week in which case the score would not be telling the whole story and Trinity may not be improving. I hope its the first option and this could be the start of a revival for the club from Wakefield.

It's because we have the redeemer back the big bopper.

Can't believe we let Salford score, how embarrassing 🫢

Played well, Luke Gale deserved man of Match.

Up the Trin

I thought Dagger was better to be honest but it was close.

i was gutted when we lost Hall but tbh Dagger is a better more versatile player. I now actually think we got the better deal. I didn’t think that when we signed him.

Wakey, Wakey, Wakey, Wakey, Wakey, Wakey let's go party. Party party party party, let's go party Wakey, Wakey, Wakey, Wakey, Wakey, Wakey, let's go party, party party, party.

Isn't it great when you support a team that doesn't win that often but when they do it means everything. Imagine if you were a Saints fan in RL or Man City in Soccer winning every other week. Always stay with your team.

Trinity til we die 😀🙏⚜️💪

I don’t know much about Dagger but when Wakey came to Saints earlier in the year, I think he was on debut, he looked excellent. In a side well beaten, at least on the scoreboard, he looked the best player on the field IMHO and I was hoping that he would be a spark for Trinity.

Great win 👏

Well played Wakefield against a woeful effort from Salford.

I don’t think Salford were at their best, obviously. But they weren’t woeful either. They were frustrated by a team that simply wouldn’t give them an inch.

Had Salford been at their absolute best they might, and I say might, have won. But it’s all about tiny percentages. That’s the best we’ve played in two seasons and your were slightly off and got well beaten.

Watch  the first two Trinity tries, it’s not often these days that any team unlocks two tries from distance down the middle, absolute rare as rocking horse stuff for Trinity!

For Salford it was obviously, after ten minutes, one of those games they were never going to win. I thought they tried but just couldn’t get going.

Leeds was a lucky win for us against a clearly out of sorts team, last night wasn’t. We had no luck last night, we just played well.

If it helps, Salford are a better team than us and have been for a few years, just not last night.

You can only beat what's in front of you.

How true that is! However, I think Trinity are finally putting the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle together. The next few weeks should be interesting.

As for Salford, least said, soonest mended! The next few weeks could be shocking. 😟
