That's a very clear cut obstruction.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Be interesting to know the % decisions which go against refs call. Of course there's the odd outlier such as Wakey's try disallowed v Cas for something the on-field ref hadn't even asked to be checked for and which wasn't even an offence except in the minds of a few people who've mis read the laws of the game!!!

But apart from that...rare as hen's teeth I suspect.

Can I get in there quick and say...🤣

Are Fev fans really gonna throw stones from their glass house when it comes to owner indiscretions?

I've said nothing wrong just said another which it would be,I've also stated he puts his money where his mouth is and never slagged him off.

Genuine Q: is that how it works?

(I know benefit of the doubt is defined in the laws of cricket because they mention it all the time - is it defined in the RL rules?)

Yes. The laws state that the referee should not disallow a try because they were not in a position to see the grounding of the ball.

If every camera angle is unable to prove conclusively whether the ball was grounded or held up then the try is given.

If someone can please tell me how there is conclusive proof to overturn the ref’s call on that disallowed Leigh try - in particular in comparison to the one that was given in the first half - then I’m all ears.

EDIT - Appreciate it wasn’t the grounding that was the issue, but where is Ipape supposed to go after playing the ball?!

There's absolutely 0 evidence that it wasn't a clear obstruction, if that helps.

OK Ipape conclusively obstructed the defender from making the tackle. There you go.

I thought it was an obstruction by Leigh's number 9. I've no idea about the grounding as I was unsighted because I was in the kitchen making a cup of tea, so I'm giving the try.
