Having watched lots of Rapana over the last 3 + years - I can honestly say, even at 35 yrs old, he will be worth it for 2 years.

He will be bringing so much experience and heart to FC, exactly what they need. He's the kind of player other players step up their game around IMO.

Watched him playing for the Raiders very recently. I thought he was the best player on the pitch.

I'm really pleased with this signing and I think he'll bring exactly what you say to the club. It's a real shame the dreaded Hull FC injury curse has brought a premature end to his NRL career.

Wouldn’t mind him on a 1 year deal at Leigh to finish where he started providing it’s on a reasonable wage level. Could add a bit more depth and mentor some of the younger forwards.

Could also be fitting that he came through our academy to debut in SL 2005 (probably the only academy graduate that has debuted with Leigh in SL), coming back in the year our full academy reopens.

Can see Hill at a Leigh, but got a feeling he might end up at Salford.

I get that, got a feeling he won't fit into Lams vision for the team and I think Hills preference will be Leigh, but Salford is a good shout with both their lack of middles and the Leigh connection I'm Paul Rowley.

Chris has been an immense signing for us and at times really held together an inexperienced pack, he's still a really good player and will still do a job for someone.

Lewis Murphy confirmed at Saints for 25.

In some ways I'm disappointed he didn't stick it out in the NRL, I thought he would displace Tupou eventually. However, it will be good seeing him back in SL

Saints fans spoilt next season by having 2 wingers for the first time in 2 years. A centre and a prop to go.

That’s the first thing I thought when I saw he had been released. Word has been that we have signed someone from Huddersfield for next year!

I was quietly hoping since Matt Ellis took over that he'd be back at Wakey. With TJ on the other wing that would have been some firepower. I guess if we have another marquee signing lined up (no idea, but hoping!) we may have struggled to get Lewis in under the salary cap. ATEOD it's someone else's money I'm spending in my head, so good luck to Lewis and good to have him back in SL. Hope he entertains us royally in a losing Saints team!! 😉

I thought he had had the ability to be a very good player in the NRL, and like you I'm disappointed he didn't stick it out.

Would love Hill at Hull, but doubt we'll get him. We need props!

The prospect of a 6 year deal might be too good to turn down for Hill so you’re in with a shout😉
