The Blues Ox Posted October 14 Posted October 14 He talked about it on his podcast a couple of weeks back when he had The Big Show on. Was a good listen for anyone who likes the 2 sports. 2 1

If it generates interest and directs people to his podcast and YouTube channel then it will generate revenue even if he is not being paid to wrestle. But the point stands, if he wants to have some fun doing this, what's the problem. "The history of the world is the history of the triumph of the heartless over the mindless." — Sir Humphrey Appleby. Tommygilf Posted October 14 Posted October 14 Didn't Daniel Vidot leave Salford to do wrestling full time? 4

I then remembered that he has wealth beyond any of our imaginations (TM: you) and decided it must be for the fun of it. Which is fair enough and he is a very good summariser. 1 7 I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.
Irish Saint Posted October 14 Posted October 14 Note to James watch that Mr. McMahon documentary on Netflix, should keep you away from this. Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor but because we cannot satisfy the rich.
StandOffHalf Posted October 14 Posted October 14 Hope he had fun. His interview with Graham Annesley about current law interpretations was the best RL-related interview I have watched (so far) in 2024. His buying of $10,000's worth of tickets for Doggies fans was an incredible gesture. Jammer would be a good ring moniker!
wakeyranger Posted October 14 Posted October 14 Given that Grayson Waller ( WWE wrestler) was involved in the match, I wonder if this might be a way for the NRL to get WWE involved in promoting the Vegas round? Just a thought. 2
EggFace Posted October 14 Posted October 14 Sonny Bill Williams in Boxing, Alex Volkanovski in MMA and now James Grahem in Pro Wrestling....TGG has made them tougher then leather.
EagleEyePie Posted October 14 Posted October 14 As James Graham mentioned on the podcast he's a massive fan of wrestling while Grayson Waller is a big RL fan and supports the Roosters. Not hard to see how it came about. (Waller was on an RL podcast last year and was asked who his ideal tag partner would be and he went for Martin Taupau). I'd be surprised if the NRL is big enough to get the WWE on board to help promote the Vegas round but it wouldn't be a bad thing if they could get some of the Aussies involved such as Grayson Waller or, better yet, Rhea Ripley.

Just a thought. I am under the impression WWE and UFC are under the same ownership, so considering the 2024 link between the latter and the NRL, a WWE involvement in 2025 shouldn’t be beyond a possibility. That would be a huge partnership if it could be pulled off. 1

Gav Wilson Posted October 15 Posted October 15 The Rock has also been known to show an interest in TGG. His cousin is former player Junior Vaivai. @GavWilson
