I think the fact that club officials cannot verify something as simple as whether an attendance given is accurate is quite something. If the club cannot be certain of that, then how can they be expected to run a business?

A new national home of rugby league in Bradford? Some supporter consultation on this wouldn't go a miss.

Imagine IMG coming up with all these ideas and the RFL are like "Bradford that's going to be our national home."

Seems dodgy as anything, won't need to worry about half time entertainment they'll bring the stock cars out and everyone will be covered in dirt.

Unfortunately when some of the questions are so loaded and passive aggressive - if not just aggressive - and to some degree irrelevant I have some sympathy with Wood.

af also is hardly a neutral and unbiased observer either so taking his reading also makes me pause.

Beat me to it. Foster always comes across as a tool imho on Twitter and has regular run ins with folks.

He's a bit of an attention seeker.

That thread is utterly depressing, surely there must be a conflict of interest in there.

"I don't work for the RFL ask them" doesn't count as a good response, especially when the question relates directly to decisions during his tenure as CEO.

I think the use of inverted commas from Foster is wrong. I may be wrong, but it doesn't read right.

Personally I think they already have a stadium “fit for the city of Bradford” 🤣

Apparently this site says I "won the day" here on 23rd Jan, 19th Jan, 9th Jan also 13th December, whatever any of that means. Anyway, 4 times in a few weeks? The forum must be going to the dogs - you people need to seriously up your game. Where's Dutoni when you need him?

Not feeling the love for this. Nought to do with the individuals involved and their miserable records, nor the arrogance, false boosterism and entitlement involved then?

I actually feel sorry for their supporters.

Wood, Gledhill, Bradford and The RFL. It’s like a combination of all of the game’s bad guys coming together like you see in films.

The awesome foursome 🙈

Nevertheless even if it is only paraphrasing, it doesn't come across well at all.

Yes, you may have seen it on national TV over the last week or so given we've done what is seemingly impossible in Bradford and managed to have a stadium complete with seats, roof, running water, full size pitch, car park and spectators in the same postcode area as the pitch. Amazed it hasn't caught on.

For me it is the grand visions in direct contrast to current admin.  If they said we are working are socks off for a modest 7-8k stadium that will generate rev that seems realistic.  I wont take questions but look at the shiny shiny superstadium looks like Bollo#ks

I suspect we've edged a bit closer to an expalantion for all that's happened going back to 2010

I've never understood why or how Nigel Wood- the person behind the ill-fated RFL loan and the person responsible for selecting the parade of penniless owners for the club - ended up as the owner of the club.

IF - and its a MASSIVE if - there is some dealing going on behnd the scenes that would end up with a new ground or RFL facility at Odsal, then it might start to explain certain things.

If it ever comes off, I suspect we'll see Nigel Wood riding off into the sunset with his bank balance considerably larger than it was when he first walked through the door.

Why else would he be neck-deep in the Bulls saga over the last decade?

How the second name is still allowed to cover games by the RFL after his rant about Rimmer is beyond me.

He seems a very well educated, articulate individual employed in a responsible, accountable position last time I read his offerings.Employed down south and still cares deeply about the rugby league club and how it is perceived by others.

Fancy someone,in this day and age, wanting honesty and accountability? What tools and attention seekers.

What with Warrington supporting Black Lives Matter I suggest he riots or waits 100 years for a meaningless apology.

No reserves, but resilience, persistence and determination are omnipotent.

Not forgetting many of those spectators coming from other countries , train station or no train station , amazing 🤔

Its no wonder the RFL didn't think an independent inquiry was needed. Wonder why the MP for Bradford, loud when the Bulls didn't get an elite academy, is silent on the clubs doings rather than those outside it.

He wasn't overly intelligent and articulate in his recent run in with a Bulls player that he published on Twitter for his fans to lap up. He's an attention seeking self publicist.

Your last para is weird.

It really does depend what the answers were. The content of the answers are fine, but they are being presented as terse 3 and 4 word responses. If they were how he answered then fair enough, that's poor, but seeing AF at work on Twitter, he is excellent at controlling the message to a willing audience.

I think this will actually happen! Why? Well, if it's a 10 to 1 chance, then given that the previous 9 plans have failed....😀😀😀😀

Bernard Manning lives! Welcome to be New RFL, the sport's answer to the Wheeltappers and Shunters Social Club.

What have we learned so far?

1) Bradford are a good target.

2) the RFLare a far easier one.

3) people form a queue to take pot shots.

4) deciding to do something with Odsal will provide enough material for Peter Kay tour

5) any signs or symptoms of ambition are an endless source of amusement and entertainment

Now, now Andrew.

I was born to run a club like this. Number 1, I do not spook easily, and those who think I do, are wasting their time, with their surprise attacks.

What is interesting is this obsession with accountability which translates as the ability to punish and very little else. The funniest thing is it's an essentially politically ideological concept brought to the forefront by people who are almost never held to account or punished in any way.

I do agree that it's always central to have honesty and transparency but this can go out of the window if people are feeling stressed or under pressure in any way.

It would be good for fans to have some say but I do feel this is better achieved by acting as a pressure group mostly because of certain national voting results I no longer trust the democratic system enough to come up with any sensible altrenatives.

There is no doubt that of Odsal was made into a fantastic stadium, an advert for RL and a statement of ambition on the part of the sport it would be brilliant.

But who'd a thort, for one minute, there'd be so many naysayers amongst RL fanatics?

The cost of turning Odsal into a genuine modern stadium would be astronomical , it just isn't viable , it isn't needed , it won't. be happening

Look at the Money for projects given by Lotto and this might change your mind at least a little, maybe, perhaps!

They’d have to add on another zero. The cost of getting the equipment down there alone must be through the roof (pub only slightly intended). Be cheaper to just fill the hole in and rebuild at ground level.
