What if the unthinkable happens ?

Recommended Posts

It wouldn’t completely be a bad thing for the game. For the tournament and the short-term, perhaps, but for the game here, just as IMG take charge and have a focus area on the international game, it wouldn’t be as disastrous as some would probably think it would be.

Plus, can you imagine the scenes in Port Moresby where they’d be a game from a final?

The coupon doesn't say England will either !

They might manage it at home, we'll see tomorrow.  In their four previous meetings since 1975 (all in the southern hemisphere) they've posted an average winning margin of 23.5 points and they'll probably want to better that.  We'll see if they can manage it.

I’m normally not particularly nationalistic for England teams and ordinarily wouldn’t be bothered if PNG won but I would really love to see us win a World Cup or even an Aussie Ashes series.

I was gutted when Sinfield dashed out of the line when we were the better team in the semi v NZ and that ankle tap in Brisbane.

And PNG beat us tomorrow ? 🙄

Then we support anyone playing Australia.

Simple.

I am specifically going to Elland Road in the hope the Kiwis give them a pasting.

I am going to that match as well and I hope Australia win if we do as nothing could be more satisfying in Rugby League than us beating Australia in a World Cup final.
