Our last two matches against Warrington have been very close and I can't see this being any different.

Neither result would be a great shock but we are in good form so I think we'll edge a tight game.

I'm confident but also terrified, if that makes sense.

Is it possible we could have the referee this time 😃

I'm not a great fan of either team, but my heart is with Wire for this one Vaughan will be missed and the Warrington centres are next to useless these days but 80 mins of real tension and take it to Saints as Leigh did can upset them, had Joe Mellor cut his fingernails it could well have been a Leigh victory.

I see Ben Thaler is the merry whistle blower, all depending on one's perspective that could be a good appointment.

I'd quite fancy Warrington in this one if Vaughan wasn't missing. The pressure is completely off them and that should work to their advantage and I think St Helens have a soft underbelly this year - and a lesser coaching set up.

However without their best player though it's hard to see a Warrington win.

Wire need to stick in for as long as they can. Saints will start quick and put them in the washing machine early on, with defenders flying from all angles at them and the likes of Makinson and Percival will start trying to pick holes from dummy half, on the back of the forwards carries.

I could see Warrington wilting tbh and going 2 or 3 try’s down in the first 15-20 mins but I hope not. If Wire can be in front or within 4-6 points, going in to the last 20 mins, they’ll have a shot because outside of that frantic first 20-25 mins, Saints don’t look like posting loads of points.

Sadly I see a Saints win by 20 points or so, on the back of a quick start.

It’s actually the other way round Saints forwards get good go forward on the back of Makinson and Percival’s early carries. If you can stop those two you go along way to stopping Saints.

It’s going to be a close game. The pressure is on Saints, i can see Wire throwing the ball out wide, Saints will do what they do best, plod down the middle little kick into the corner on the last.

No Mikaele for us, which is probably the final nail in the coffin. Just hope we give a good account of ourselves.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Amor or Wilkin, what a choice.

With some media training Amor could easily become the face of RL punditry/presentation.

This is a fairly dramatic increase in intensity compared to last night's game.

Ahem.

Fantastic break from Knowles ends with Percival making his second error of the game.

Ominous signs already for Wire.

Good word that..."Ominous"

Two more Saints' errors, Lomax and Welsby, at least they're being shared out. Last one called a Wire knock on though.

Or ominous for Saints.

I think Saints are guilty of trying to kill the game in the first 15 and playing it too fast.
