As an aside I do think the World Cup is a tremendous looking trophy, as is the Challenge Cup and old first division trophy. They give an air of importance and prestige which hub caps do not.

The International board really don't help themselves. 

First they say they've replaced the knob at the top, then we find out the replacement is a cock. 

Then it transpires that they've not replaced the knob at all. They've just brought in a cock in a new position above the knob.
