An almost impossible game to call. They've won one each head to head this year and have an identical record in the Championship. I'm leaning towards Bradford because of home advantage, and probably also because of nostalgia!

Whoever wins will deserve their place in the semi-final, both defeating Super League opposition en route. Probably the first time for a while that an all second-tier tie has been shown on FTA TV too.

The only prediction I make with certainty is that whichever Super League side draws the winner of this one, we will no doubt face some accusations of a fix and a narrative that the particular side "always gets an easy draw" even though there will be little evidence to support it!

Edit: Seems a while since Bradford nearly suffered a shock defeat at Keighley doesn't it?

There were claims that this tie was “fixed” how, and more importantly why god alone knows

I think the line-ups will be interesting with both sides losing last weekend. The Bulls didn't lose at Fev they got a shellacking, though there were a few, largely forced, changes made from what would have been regarded as the 'usual' line up. Even then the 'regulars' who did play didn't play well, but I think that Kear will stick the tried and trusted as that's his usual MO - if "trusted" is the right word after Sunday's debacle.

My reason for thinking he may stick with those players is that they let themselves down badly late in the game and they must realise that a much different attitude will be required. Fax are a good side, so I'm not counting any chickens, but I fancy us at home for this one, though in truth absolutely nothing would surprise me.

'Fax got hammered at Fev too TBF

Anyone outside the UK know if the BBC will be streaming this game, or if there is another way to watch?

Get a VPN and use iPlayer...   just need to fool the beeb into thinking you are in the UK.

Is Scott Murrell the most rotund half back since Owen Craigie?

Seen him play for Halifax a few times. He's very good at getting them round the park.

Can't see past Bradford Bulls in this one.

It's a brave man who bets against John Kear in an evenly matched Challenge Cup tie.

Great try that, Foggin-Johnson is some player, really liked him when he was at York.

Comical watching Murrell trying to get near him.

I can’t get past the fact I keep thinking the commentators swearing whenever they say his name.

Disgusting refereeing. Nothing wrong with the original tackle - and he waa happy to play on - but the Bulls are rewarded for starting a fight.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.
