Huge game for Fax this week and we can't afford to lose otherwise I think Batley will be looking really good for that important 3rd place. Really looking forward to the game and expecting it to be close, Batley have the better pack and we have the better backs so it should make it interesting. I have lost track of which players we have banned or injured but if its the same pack that started against Bradford I think we may get beat.

Yeah Keyes had a boot on his injured ankle but has been training, Moore possible broken ribs but knowing how he is I would expect he will be able to play if need be. Walmsley and Tangata were left out Saturday as a precaution so I would expect them to be back in the line up and maybe Brad Knowles is brought in which would be nice as it were the batley game he got that horrific injury and to be back playing in such a short amount of time is pretty amazing really.

If Batley had anything about them they would lose tonight to make the game on TV even more exciting. 😃

If Fax lose v Batley then the Fev game will have no meaning, nothing against Batley but just for interest purposes I hope Fax win.

Tonight's game could go either way, given the turnround and other upcoming games that the two will have an eye on. Sheffield are basically safe so could be playing with more freedom. Batley will be trying to win every game to get as high as possible. It's usually a good match-up.

Draw tonight, then

Bradford by 30
York by 20
Leigh by 24
Fax by 4
London by 6
Eagles by 16
Fev by 10

I care not for your family; I care not for your kin. I come in search of terror, though terror is my own; I come in search of vengeance for crimes and crimes unknown. I care not for your children, I care not for your wives, I care not for your country, I care not for your lives." - (c) Jim Boyes - "The Avenging Angel"

Sheffield playing really well uphill in the 1st half. Bit of niggle in this game too, Batley have had a man sin binned.

Joel Farrell's fan club out in force, wonder if some have been loaned from Halifax.

12-10 with 3 mins to go in the first half

Not sure how many games York have one against the other playoff teams this season.

York have still to go to Leigh, but the other 5 games are against Dewsbury (a), Bradford (h), Sheffield (h), Newcastle (a), and Workington (h), all very winnable considering the only games York have lost this season have been against the teams currently sitting in the top 5.

But thats my point.  They will make the playoffs but I dont see them beating any other playoff team as it stands.

York have beaten Batley and Barrow away this season. Is Fax's run-in in danger of being blighted by injuries and suspensions ? I don't know their remaining fixtures.....
