No mate some people like kicking Feath whether it’s justified or not.

Isn’t that the same for all teams though? It’s usually the local rivals.

A new consortium of investors are coming in at Fev. Announced imminently. Some will be gutted on here.

That's fantastic news if it will alleviate any financial issues.

On a side note are Fevs assets protected in any way? Too many RL clubs are now where they are because of unscrupulous individuals over the years.

People are not blaming Fev for chasing the SL dream. They are blaming Fev for spending way too much in doing so, and money they obviously couldn't afford. London chased the SL dream too but didn't follow a boom or bust approach.

London who are basically indebted to one person by about 30 million pound are probably not the best example. I guess technically they are not living beyond their means but its not really sustainable is it and you feel at some point in the not too distant future they will either go belly up or cease to exist once the money tree dries up.

Not particularly sure the relevance to what London did last season. Dragging up historical debt over a period of 20+ years, most of which was accrued in the first few years when they did spend larger in SL in SL, seems irrelevant. I don't think anyone can accuse London of spending big money for years, at least a decade, and they've even been promoted twice into SL in that time and spent next to nothing.

What happened to ALL being part of RL ?

Are you saying you deserve an equal share?

Only "A" class shareholders can do anything with the land. There are several hundred of them and you're only allowed one each, regardless of how much money you've put in via "B" shares (Campbell etc).

Thanks for that. That's fantastic and should give a lot of security.

Hopefully the start of both positivity and a turnaround in the current financial position.

David Hughes pockets would probably say otherwise. 😂

More positive announcements soon now the board/ownership change has been formally announced. Wonder if it'll generate as many pages as the storm in a tea cup petition news did.

You tend to find that when clubs don't pay players or people they owe money too that it gets noted.

And it is absolutely right that it is noted.

And there is no defence of, "Oh, stop being meaniepegs to my club."

Yes, you may have mentioned this. Will you be as forthcoming with praise for positive news?

Maybe. Depends how much joy I feel like sharing. Will reserve judgement for now.

Good news for Fev that. Will he be joined by more new additions? They've lost some longstanding in recent times too

Apparently some more to join. Hopefully there will, but a good start with Paddy.

Good news.

The new investor is not only an ex player but it sounds like he’s useful with a hammer too.

It is the start. Paddy is a shrewd guy and will make a positive contribution to the club's fortunes.

No not same as SL they bring the money in no problem with, but they wouldn't share any if they didn't have to.
